Q: Do the used tires have a warranty?
A: All used tires sold at the Valley Street store carry a 30 day warranty.
Q: When will you ship my item?
A: We will ship your item the same day for orders received before 12pm EST. Orders received after 12pm EST will ship the next day.
Q: I have the tires, now what?
A: Just about any tire / auto repair shop will install your used tires. We recommend shops that employ technicians certified by TIA (Tire Industry Association) or ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence). If you are near Dayton, Ohio consider our reasonable installation services provided by Neace Tire, who has been in the used tire business since 1958.
Q: I live close to you, can I get a discount on shipping?
A: Due to shipping rates we have negotiated with our carrier, the listed shipping price is the best shipping price available.
Q: Your description says the tire has been repaired with a patch, is the patch safe?
A: We inspect our tires to make sure patches are in locations that are not subjected to high amounts of stress that would cause the patch to fail. These locations are typically in the tread of the tire and never in the sidewall region of the tire.
Q: Can I pick my tires up?
A: Definitely. There is no charge to pick up your tires. Just bring your paid receipt. We install tires as well, see the Installation page for details.
Q: The tire you listed is damaged, is your vision impaired?
A: We inspect our tires prior to listing them for damage and/or defects. We do miss some things from time to time though. If you think a tire appears to have damage that we have not pointed out, please let us know. Email mike@neacetire.com. Don't call him an idiot though, he's a sensitive guy.
Q: Where did you get the tires?
A: Most often, we do not know the exact history of each tire we sell. |
